Jin Shin Jyutsu or Massage?

Sometimes, clients are uncertain as to which will help most, Jin Shin Jyutsu or massage.  While Jin Shin Jyutsu stands thoroughly on its own, there are many benefits to augmenting it with massage.  Often, JSJ treatments can be accelerated by using deep tissue and circulatory massage,especially in the beginning.  It can clear out the points faster, and allow an untrained body to relax and learn to accept the more subtle forms of energy work.

Deep tissue and circulatory massage can “get the body systems moving” and speed up the elimination of toxins.  The pain relief can be swift and dramatic.  Endorphins (the body’s natural hormonal painkillers, stronger than morphine) are produced in abundance, which add to an immediate improvement in well-being.

 

Jin Shin Jyutsu and Massage

I like to alternate Jin Shin Jyutsu and massage in the beginning.  Massage, on its own, can sometimes be the solution to problems.  But my feeling is that for more complete and lasting healing and balancing, Jin Shin Jyutsu should be included.  Of course, if you want just one or the other, that can be arranged.
